Kurt ranked himself, a crap lyricist and a lazy one who waited until the very last minute to write his lyrics, like in the car on the way over to the studio, or on the mixing console during recording.

He said his lyrics were 'mumbo-jumbo'

I think he's pretty good, 'Heart Shaped Box' is probably his best lyrical (and musical in my opinion) work.

ya, the song about Courtney.

I like Kurt's lyrics. The fact that they're nonsensical is what makes them so good. It allows you to mold them into something you can relate to.

Kurt's lyrics were ingenious garbage.

No if it was about her it would be called fishy smelling box

Wasn't that because she gave him a box with hearts on it or something, with a doll inside? I read something like that in a book about him but it was a while ago.

Anyway, I think he's a good song-writer. I don't take his lyrics too seriously though, as they do just seem to be 'rubbish'. Still love Nirvana.

She wrote it with him.
I think she wrote quite a lot of it as well.

some people say she wrote alot of Kurt's songs post Nevermind and he would use the riffs she liked most.

80's Nirvana > 90's Nirvana.

^bleach owns.

I find it neat he wrote most of his lyrics while in the studio.
