I think Neil Young put it better.

If you sign to a major label they're going to push to make you big.
FACT!

You're nothing more than an investment to them if you don't want to be huge then don't play large venues and don't sign to a major label.

Oh please , an ex hair metal band jumping on the grunge bandwagon isn`t in it to become famous at all

And watch the insults

They really had no choice to sign to a big label they saw their names and albums posted every where, music videos on T.V that's a recipe for destruction. Even when the bands where signed to big labels they didn't play big venues they wanted to stick to their roots.:hphones:

What roots?

18 months previous they had a David Lee Roth lookalike fronting them.

No choice in signing for a big label?
Oh please.

Even when bands like Nirvana or Pearl Jam were signed they didn't dress any different then when they weren't signed, they played little venues instead of big ones, they felt if like us great if you don't oh well. They weren't out to impress they were being themselves those are the roots I was talking about.

Nirvana and Pearl Jam played their share of stadiums. You do have a choice in signing to a big label or not.
