Patrick Wolf twee pop what? Please explain that one to me. Bluegrass? His folk stuff shares more in common with Vashti Bunyan too. I wish you'd get rid of your indie-biased when trying to argue, Patrick Wolf is an extremely creative and talented artist. Though if he was on a major label or came out 30 year agos you'd probably agree.

theres better acoustic guitar players (John Fahey, Phil Ochs, Elliott Smith, Nick Drake) but hes a hell of a songwriter.
John Fahey is great.

Ochs was just another Guthrie wannabe and his guitar playing was nothing special.

Nick Drake is a HORRIBLE guitarist.

And Elliot Smith is good. But nothing amazing, you really overrate him as a guitarist.

I got indie pop and twee pop confused for a sec.

Bluegrass?
Bluegrass instruments.

I like a lot of Indie, so that wont work on me, it has nothing to do with Indie. Wolf is just horrible.

Actually he was the bassist (I believe it may have been one of his other bands) in Commander Venus, they weren't very good but still.

Listen to Power and Glory, that isn't nothing special. Hes a very good acoustic guitar player, alot of it (Love Me, Im A Liberal, That Was the President) isn't anything special but on some songs he really shreds.

Actually hes a very talented guitar player and no one really rates him on that, on tracks like Angeles and I Don't Think I'm Ever Going to Figure It Out his finger picking is amazing and hes got an amazing ear for melody. You're just disagreeing for the sake of it.

You clearly don't know what good finger picking is.

Joe Pass, Chet Atkins, Phil Keaggy, Merle Travis, Leo Kottke, Michael Hedges, Mark Knopfler, Jourma Kaukonen, Lindsey Buckingham and Robby Krieger >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Elliot Smith.

So because there is people better at something it means he isn't good at it? This is just more of your biased indie ****, I don't know why I bother arguing you with, your worse then a brick wall because you actually talk back.

I think they were punk, but what the media/world has done to them since Kurt died has made them as un-punk as possible.
