If she worships him so much she should go dig up his grave and do some necrophile **** to him for all I care.

4. They changed the state of rock music for the worst. Because of them, you have bands like Korn, Saliva, Slipkunt, Linkin Park, and good god no, Breaking Benjamin.

5. Their music just flat out SUCKS.

You may not like my opinion, but you're just gonna half to deal with it. =) I just plain don't like Nirvana.

And metal was pretty much dead by the mid 90s, so it had to conform to the alternative trend of the 90s that was started by good ol' Nirvana which is why we have nu-"metal" bands like Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, and Korn.

Whether you think they`re overrated or not is irrelevant, what is relevant is that they are one of the most influential groups of all time and used the Pixies as their starting point, along with a whole host of other infuences.

As for calling Kurt Cobain an untalented songwriter.........well you just haven`t got a clue have you.

Douchy scene kids, angsty teens etc run after all types of groups, regardless of the group`s talent.

As said above, the reference to Korn and Slipknot is redundant and has far more to do with Mr.Bungle and metal in general.

Just far and away the most over-rated band ever. ONe album, albeit with some cracking songs on but two of which were plagiarised.
