After Lars came out as a complete pussy I no longer think of myself as a fan. But, those pre-pussy years of Metallica made an impact on me... so they get my vote.

Woah, now don't be thinking I'm a Metallica fan here. They're OK, nothing more. There are plenty of bands that rock out way better than Metallica ever could, but that's another topic altogether. But Megadeth is way worse. And sorry for the incorrect spelling, by the way.

I'd have to say Metallica, due to the fact that Megadeth made "Symphony of Destruction" which classes as one of the worst songs ever. But Mr. Mustaine has some pretty funny quotes:
"Glam metal? Glam stands for *** Los Angelos Metal"

'Symphony Of Destruction' is a cracking tune. Simple structure and bass line with a classic riff. It certainly is'nt one of my very favourite Megadeth tracks but it's damn good. Is it maybe the simplicity of it that makes you not like it? I could certainly understand that.
