Well, I live in rural Ontario, about two and a half hours away from Toronto, and can't drive yet (5 months away). Since most shows are at least a good hour and a half away and my family (cept for my brother) generally doesn't dig the bands I dig, it's very rare that I get to go.

I wish I felt like driving 3-5 hours to see guys like In Flames, God Forbid, Opeth, Blue October, etc..

I've only been to local shows, so all these bands are small (except Emery, maybe)

Emery
In Fear and Faith
The Word Alive
Greeley Estates
Skyeatsairplane
Eyes Set To Kill
The Chariot
Queens Club
We Came As Romans
Oh, Sleeper
I am Alpha and Omega
Oceana
Sent By Ravens

and other bands that opened that I forgot..

I wouldn't say those bands are small, I've heard of most of them. The Chariot are pretty good, what did you think of their live show?
