I think Hetfeild is a really good lyricist, he touched on more political and personal subjects while pretty much all other metal bands were either writing songs about D&D and worshiping the devil(power metal) or writing songs about drinking, having sex and partying all night(hair metal)...And hetfields a decent vocalist, i usualy hate metal vocals(di<kenson and halford are 2 main exceptions)but i dont mind Hetfields vocals at all.

Thats the thing, I don't find anything bad about his vocals, but in saying that I don't find anything at all when i listen to him. He is that boring to me.

He's like the distortion ruining a good t.v program.

yeah cause I love his voice, and while that might be hard to swallow for some, I dn't understand what there is to hate about it. His bark was even better.

I lost all respect for metallic after watching their autobiography movie. It was so pathetic and annoying.

It does actually happen.. I know quite a few people who won't listen to a band because they have issues with the members.
