Default [B]Favourite songs of all time[B]

i know this is a slightly generalised thread bt what are your top three songs of all time? everyone has those particular songs that really get to you deep down- i just wanat to know what yours are!
just for the recordemundo, mine are:

led zeppelin- Stairway to heavan....just an absolute classic, hidden meanings littered throughout.

Radiohead- Street Spirit...a real solumn, miserable yet soulful indie tune that has the power to calm even the most prozac fuelled of nutters.

NivanaUK- Rainbow Chaser...totally trippy and psychedelic, takes you to another place amongst the pink hippos and blue grass. brilliance.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Simple Man"
Electric Wizard - "Funeralopolis"
Edge of Sanity - "Crimson"

the last slot is the one that changes.

GOOD MUTHA F*CKIN CHOICE MUTHA F*CKER!!!!!!

However, that being said, the other three I would pick, cause it's only three, is:

1. Today by The Smashing Pumpkins
2. There is a light that never goes out by The Smiths
3. Friday, I'm in love by the The Cure.

There are so many more I could pick, but meh, these three I KNOW I will love forever.

Default Gonna be a small group of ppl that like these lol

1: Soil ~ Remember
2: Metallica ~ One
3: Poison ~ Every Rose has its thorn

Sorry I know .... sad mofo ... but i like sad songs ... I like the upbeat munch of HR but when at home with me bottle of jack ... these are in my top 3.
Having listerned to Soil "Remember" trying to decifer the lyrics for a dying m8 ... the song struck me like no other ..

no 2 ... well ... if anyone has actually heard it will remember that forever.

no 3 ... I remember as the song that turned me from dire st8s / staus quo ( yeah laugh) into the 33 yr old ( yes you can laugh again) metal head i am now lol

90% of you will grow up with this music and ya kids will cower in the corner when you play it lol ... mine do now lmao. ( although my 10 yr old has got the taste and headbangs better than most my m8's lol and she does a mean air guitar =D )

Anyway this poll is all about personal preference and not to snide at others choices ... I havent heard of half of them but i dont say ahhh no they crap .... I'll reserve judgement ....
If i hear a song i like i'll go and either DL it or buy the CD.

Pity it wasnt a top 10 .... coz Jet and The Hives would be in there .. along with the group i cant remember that did the fireworks on top of an unfinished building .... erm ... ????? ... and slipknot (new) would be there ... with his other band (stone sour) ledz would be half way ish .... AC/DC has to be there ... and maybe Free.
Free????
"Alright Now baby its a alright now"

That was basically the theme tune that Jimmy and the gang changed rock history to ... lol ... its like the theme tune to woodstock . so my dad said ... but what would he know ? ... he was high as a kite when that was on lmao.

Anyway ... nice review of the top 3 .... make it 10 next time ... soz for waffle >< ...
*hides back into the dungeon of sin he came from*

*edit*

Soz ... missed "The Beatles" JL and PC made things happen that wouldnt have been in our now if they hadnt have made history.
I only like a few of the songs but they made music popular and made people get out there and make the music we listern to now. So my dad said once lol but what does he know? ./.. he lives his life on ebay now lol
