Eh. I still like the Black Album, but the songs get old after a while. Unlike their first four, which still drop kick me in the nuts whenever I listen to them.

So is it your second favorite now Il? Is Harvestor of Sorrow your fav song from AFJA?

Dyer's Eve is the best song on that album.

Ride the Lightning is still my favorite Metallica album, mainly due to the fact it has one of the best instrumental tracks of all-time:

I actually listened to a little bit off of Load and Reload and it didn't sound that bad at all. Not thrash, but good hard rock. I can't say the same for St Anger. God that songs awful.

What is the general consensus on Death Magnetic? Good album worth buying or no?

I have a love/hate thing with Death Magnetic... one one hand I think it is a good kinda throwback to their thrash roots that people wanted to hear... but on the other hand i feel it is kinda forced sounding and feels like it is too little to late for them.

If you wanna get into a good thrash band, get into Testament... I always felt they should of took Anthrax's spot in the Big 4.

I'm not the biggest Metallica fan. I was into them moreso back in highschool. Nowadays, all of their songs tend to sound the same to me. I have to be in a certain mood to even tolerate anything of theirs that's not the "S&M" version.
