Skullflower. This band is unlike any other "rock" band that exists; Skullflower is spacey, ambient, and immensely heavy all at once. I'd recommend getting the album IIIrd Gatekeeper from them; if you're sitting around bored or stoned, this album is indispensable.

seriously i don't know how many of you guys know by bush but they are easily one of the best if not the best british band ever. definitely recommend all their albums but if you've never heard them before start with 16 stone for sure.

I've heard a lot about them, just never really found a reason to dive into their work. However, i'll see if I can find a copy of 16 Stone and give it a shot.

I know a lot of people see Bush as merely a UK version playing off Nirvana’s success (Gavin Rossdale did sound a bit like Kurt Cobain too) but this band has a lot of nostalgia for me since I discovered them in grade 6 or so. Definitely one of the better post-grunge albums, and although the singles are all great, Everything Zen, Comedown, Glycerine etc. “Testosterone” is my personal favourite on the album.

Get off the drugs.

"Easily one of the best if not the best british band ever".... yeah, no. Not even close. Gavin Rossdale is an awful songwriter. Look at the lyrics for virtually any Bush song and by god they are dreadful. Plus, music itself is just generic Nirvana knockoffery. Not to say they do not have some catchy moments, but still... not even in the top 50 best British bands.

I mean, really.....

Always closest to the flame
Ever closer to the blade
I am poison crazy lush
Built these hands to lift me up
We are servants to our formulaic ways
I'm s c r e a m i n g s d a i s i e s
From 14 miles away
I've got my own time
Got it all today
Make up your mind
I need some help
To find this mind

Limbo this and limbo that
You were this and you were that
Ever know that what you fear is what you find
This Indian summer
I signed my life away
There's a greedy fly in here
And I fly away (need some help)

Can find better writings in a goth girls diary. So awful.
