Hey,
I am looking for energetic Rock songs like this style: Spiderbait - Black Betty, Wolfmother - Joker and The Thief, motorhead - Ace of Spades...

or just rock songs with good intros, don't bother posting the most famous ones, I probably have them already :P

Iron Man - South of the Earth

One-time Black Sabbath cover band release a diverse array of hard rock & doom metal tracks. Nice tip-of-the-hat to Lovecraft in the latter half of the album. I haven't heard anything else from the band but plan to do so after enjoying this disc.

I haven't heard Tiamat's new album, but I thought Katatonia's new album was great and Amorphis' new album was pretty good also. I gave "Dead End Kings" a 4/5 and "Circle" a 3.5/5.

Default Mainstream? No, please!

I am the girlfriend of a die hard metal man. He's not into anything you can classify as mainstream, really. And, though I appreciate this in him, I can't manage to find sh*t he likes! I need some serious underground, technical shredding material. His favorite band is Within The Ruins. Any suggestions?

Oh my goodness. Thanks, man. He's mentioned Elitist before. Erra's pretty good. I really, really like Your Memorial but, it's not really up his alley. I'm looking for more of an unsigned, melt your face group. Hahaa. If you have any more suggestions feel free to blow my mind!

Your boyfriend likes deathcore and is therefore into "mainstream" underground metal. Play this for him and mock him for not knowing what it is.
