Blech. Dull post-thrash is dull. But if your BF hasn't heard this then you should dump him.

Meh. Old school Testament is cool, but I can't get into their newer stuff. Just boring. Even The Gathering was only moderately awesome. It didn't help that they just didn't seem to have the same energy without Alex Skolnick. And Chuck Billy needs to quit with that faux-death metal growl he does. It's embarrassing.

Are you defending Chuck Billy's death metal growl? Please tell me you're not.

I get what you're saying, and I'm not defending anything. I'm just passing time until it's time to go.

Default Iron Maiden question

So I've been meaning to listen to Iron Maiden for a long time and just haven't gotten around to listening to much at all. That said, I've never listened to a full length album from them before. And I've been wondering for awhile, which one should I start with? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Powerslave is my favorite, I would recommend it.
