I never thought Id see the day someone recommended me LB.

Anyway, I'll have to check out Skid Row and EZN.

Of course, I'll check it out after I get on all the other recommendations you guys have given me.

The best stuff from a poor metal genre, which also happens to come from the best known bands. As said above alternative metal is far more rewarding.

Korn- Korn, Follow the Leader
Deftones- Adrenaline, Around the Fur
Limp Bizkit- Three Dollar Bills Yall$
Slipknot- Slipknot, Iowa
Papa Roach- Infest (basic but a good fun listen)
Saliva- Every Six Seconds (again a fun listen)

They are almost all bad now, last few albums have been dreadful. But when they were on top of their game they were great. "Strap It On" is an under appreciated album, post-hardcore/noise rock... which featured one of the best songs in that style "Sinatra", after that album would mark their shift to the Alternative Metal scene with "Meantime" and "Betty".. though they still did retain some traces of noise rock on those as well. Those 3 albums are their essentials, with "Aftertaste" being decent, but not as great as first 3... would say that is more a fans album, not something the newcomer should start with.

Does anyone happen to know a site that sells used CD's and combines shipping?

I've been listening to the Doors LA Woman alot lately. Does anyone know any other albums where the singer has that tired, whiskey laden voice?

Limp Bizkit actually used to be pretty innovative and sounded good

before they "dumbed down" for a bigger audience
