What sub genre do you hate?

Whatever sub genre dimmu borgir and cradle of filth fall into that'll be the one i hate... i mean they suck....bad

Mainly the people who listen to them put me off the most just the whole attitute they take from it like going all depressed n **** all the time kinda bugs me alot

that's black metal, and it does suck.

Dimmu and Cradle aren't really black metal though.

They claim to be, but if you look at other bands in the genre, you can see they really aren't of that genre. Cradle even less then Dimmu.

In fact Cradle of Filth has started calling themselves "Goth Metal", which I believe is a fitting title for both bands.

I still don't think CoF and Dimmu are half as horrible as their detractors think they are. In fact, compared to real black metal CoF and Dimmu seem like musical gods.

I have a soft spot for Cradle of Filth. They got me into metal entirely. A lot of people hate them based on the fact that they claim to be Black Metal, which is silly IMO.

I love black metal. Gram, 1349, Furia, Vandöd, Mgła, Cor Scorpii, Tsjuder (now defunct, but Krypt is good as well), etc. I hate most grindcore as well but I do like Anaal Nathrakh
