Faith No More appreciation thread
I LOVE "The Real Thing". Almost every track was absolutly excellent.

i haven't listened to 'the real thing' since about 1999. then again that's also when i found a copy of it floating around a computer lab in school prior to losing it after graduation.
either way, i'm torn between 'angel dust' and 'album of the year' as top picks. i find AotY a lot tighter overall but nothing compares to '****lobber'. |
Faith No More seems like a band I'd really like. What's the best album?
|
^ Angel Dust.
I've been listening to this band recently, and while I like all their output, I really like Chuck Mosely's vocals. Weird, I know. |
Their Live at Brixton Academy is pretty entertaining. You guys know there is a reunion comin' up, right?
|
I walked into the grocery store the other day and they were playing "Easy" on the radio. I ****ing LOVE that song.
|
^ ME TOO! I like Patton's version better. I doubt they were playing that in the store.

Wow. Not a thread about these guys! I loved The Real Thing for years (well still do) and I caught them twice on the tour. The first time was before 'Epic' hit big and was in this tiny venue that holds about 200 and they blew me away. About 9 months later they were at a 2,000 capacity venue and I got to stagedive :). for some reason or another I stopped listening to the band and recently rediscovered them recently with the brilliant Angel Dust.
Very groundbreaking band who pushed a lot of barriers down. |
