Because of this thread I decided to get my hands on Salival with DVD. Of course it's out of print. I've been looking on eBay and Amazon but boy that baby doesn't come cheap. Anyone has another suggestion? I don't live in the States so cannot hop off to some great second hand store over there. Or if anyone reading this wants to get rid of his/her copy drop me a PM.

Not a bad starting point at all! I strong urge you to keep listening.... get Aenema! If you got into Lateralus you could definitely get into it!

to ronald... screw the dvd. you don't need it. just download the album from a torrent or something. they re-worked "pu****" for that, and i gotta say, it's definitely in my top 5 tool songs for sure, particularly the last 10 seconds or so.

When, oh when shall we hear new Tool material.... I love 'em and I appreciate that they don't make music according to the usual 2 years on and off cycle, but sometimes i just wanna hear more from 'em! But if the big gaps between albums is what helps them produce the quality music they put out, then I guess I'll dial up my patience...

Going by the 5 years between drinks pattern their last 3 lp's have taken we should be due for a release next year... God only knows how they can evolve further than the high mark set by 10000 days. Wings of Marie (pt2) is their masterpiece IMO.

I'd say Danny,Adam and Justin have most of the music worked out and are waiting for Maynard to come along with some lyrics. I think mjk is also working on an apc record aswell.

I agree, some bands take way too long and the results aren't always what you'd expect after such a long wait. I wish more bands were a bit more spontaneous. Not that I want them to put out every crap song they jam out, but you never know...could be more energetic and honest. There is such a thing as overworking art.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
