Ronnie James Dio as a vocalist, or Phil Anselmo... very powerful both of them but in different ways.
Favorite band is trickier - currently I mostly listen to Entombed. otherwise Slayer

As far as personal favorites go... Gordon Downie of the Tragically Hip is my favorite vocalist and The Constantines are my favorite band.

for metal mood i would say iron maiden-or that new band with the guitar player from sum 41... Brown Brigade. But when im in an emo mood its for sure Escape the Fate.
