I'm Your Man is a good album. It's very different from his earliest stuff though since it's not really folk music at all. It has a couple clunkers on it unfortunately, but it also has some of his best songs IMO

Not as folky. I love some traditional folk, I guess it has more of a band sound to it? As opposed to the minimalistic stripped down sound. I'll most probably give both albums a listen tonight.

Not really a band sound, no. More of an 80s synth thing going on and honestly it sounds its best when it's at its most synthy believe it or not.

Oooh, not what I expected at all. I'm sure the departure from his earlier sound will be interesting, even if it's not my thing. Time will tell.

I agree on the Leonard Cohen being the best from Canada.

I admire Leonard Cohen, but I can't really listen to him much because I prefer music in my songs.

So why can't you listen to Leonard Cohen? He has a lot of stuff that's actually quite heavily arranged.

Yeah. Strings and stoof. Folk at it's best is Leonard.
