Well quit with the lame insults then, troll or not. Pardon me for referring to the fact that I didn't really put my opinion out on Metallica's change in sound. Slayer still gets my vote regardless.

The only insult here is Metallica being considered thrash.

So what if they're no longer a legit thrash band? Back when they were they ****ing ruled the genre. Do they loose all previous cred becasue they got old and changed?

Apparently when you sell out the Illuminati go back in time and wipe your previous accomplishments from history.

So Judas Priest aren't metal either? Noted. And I think having the balls to not give a **** about outdated cultural taboos based largely on Judeo-Christian values is pretty metal. Being homophobic in a genre that praises machismo is just too mainstream for my tastes. It's the real reason I sucked that dick that one time. That I know of.

Who cares about Metallica selling out? If they want to put food on their families' tables then more power to them. They clearly didn't care about making thrash anymore, so why would I want them to go the Slayer route of writing passionless thrash in a desperate attempt to hold on to a diminishing fanbase?

And Slayer let Apple use "Raining Blood" in a commercial. Sounds like selling out to me.

Lol no they didn't. They were a great band and my favorite for years. I remember when Master of Puppets was released I bought the cassette next day and wore it out so you couldn't read the tracks.

Slayer still heavier and thrashier. That's the purpose of thrash. FASTER HEAVIER

Not Mamma Said.

That's because Mamma Said is not thrash. Master of Puppets, Kill Em All, And Justice for All, and Ride the Lightning all fit the bill though (even if AJFA is boring).

Testament is better than all of these farts anyway.

The "big four" refers to Slayer, Anthrax, Metallica, and Megadeth. It's just the way things is.

Yeah I know. I miss Testament though. I lost track after the gathering which was ages ago. All my fav bands are selling out. I just found out the other day All That Remains is country now. Pretty sad.
