Singing about real life and political issues doesn't make the band not bad. RATM probably go in my ten worst bands of all time list (and I'm not kidding, I hated their sound that much).

What the **** did any other abnd from the 90's have to say thatw as close? Who were they?

Theres nothign wrong with BE either btw? On what grounds does that not work?

In terms of APC and Tool singing about garbage made up in their head, yes, but have you not listened to a decent SOAD or NIN song?
Seriously, those two characteristics (real life and politics) were horrible qualities to justify RATM's greatness.

Which they were; great.

Do you even know what you're on about, RATM-hater?
I never said that, so don't quote me with a completely irrational argument.

Agreed.

Plus Rage were good musicians, a thrait most people here dispise.

I don't dislike any of these bands really, out of all these, Radiohead comes out on top (their fans still suck though) but Tool, AIC and NIN also have a place in my heard, sure they may be pretentious but thats never bothered Mr. Prunk before.

I'm not too into Deftones, SOAD and APC but they're among the better bands clumped into the nu metal category, that being said they're alright.

I said Rage because "Evil Empire" is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I tend to listen to it more than any of the other bands. I am a big fan of all of those other bands though.
