I dont know if they've been mentioned yet, but HIM are pretty much the most appalling metal band I've ever heard. I cant listen to them for long, I get really fidgety becasue the music bores me so much. I always considered HIM to be a pop/rock band.
I also hate Manowar with a passion.

Seems like majority of the worst metal bands on here are power metal bands. Have to say that I agree with this consensus, despite the fact that the north american metal bands were distinctly better than their european counterparts.
