I went, I saw, I was blown away. Suck on that MB!:yeah:
|
and when the 5 of us going to see the white stripes witness a killer show by a band who put out a good CD, you can suck on that.
|
That was uncalled fo...:(
But seriously, I'd rate this gig right behind The White Stripes...plus, these guys have a much better relationship with the audience. |
saw them at wireless. The funny thing is the crowd only got into the set when they started playing material from Rated R and SFTD. The first half was one of the most boring sets ive ever heard, i really dont like Era Vulgaris at all. Homme is one good frontman though.

I liked every single song they played (even Feel good hit of the summer, which I didn't really like before). The singles from Era Vulgaris (Sick Sick Sick and 3's and 7's ) are awesome songs and I'm sure the rest will set in eventually (all of their albums have plenty of filler tracks). I agree on Homme being a good frontman, in fact, I can't think of anyone else with such stage presence and rock and roll sex appeal.
I feel extremely privileged to have been able to see both The White Stripes and Qotsa in my own country as I think they're two of the best rock and roll bands in the world right now (and will be seen years from now as legendary bands). |
QOTSA??
Legendary?? Please tell me what it is that they have done which would classify them as legendary? Not bein' a dick but I just don't see it |
They make awesome music?
|
^ ummm so does linkin park.... !!!
|
Chimming in on Era Vulgaris thinking that Adidasss gave it a good review in the white stripes thread (I was wrong, he just mentions it) and so far only 3's and 7's is good with the song preceding it apparently first appearing on teh desert sessions, though its good as well.
