not hugely impressed by their new release, "little sister" but songs for the death to me was amazing. favourite track by far is go with the flow followed by god is on the radio and first it giveth. rated R was ok while not brilliant, and their selk titled debut didnt impress hugely, but hey, their obviously improving with each album so lullabies to paralyze may be their best yet. what do guys think of them?

i like their self titled the best. the other two are tied for second.

I need to get Lullabies to Paralyze cause it has the music video to Someone's In The Wolf.

Lullabies to Paralyze is alright, I wasn't impressed with Little Sister, I just expected more but the song grows on you as does the new album. Its still worth buying, as was Songs for the Deaf but nothing really comparing to Rated R.

I cancelled it in the end, 2 weeks after it came out they still hadn`t sent it.I went out & bought it myself in the end.

^ you mean, Songs for the Deaf. Sorry, I just keep seeing people post "Songs for the Death" and it's slightly (just slightly) irritating. Sorry to be anal. Pretty good album, btw. Havent heard the new one, dont know if i'll ever get around to it.

I've got lullabies to paralyze, and I think it's great. probably not as heavy as their other albums but it's got quite a few stand out tracks on it... check out tracks 4,5,6,8,10,12,14.
but it's a cool album to just let play through.

by the way, it's their first album i'm least impressed by, only got about four good songs on it, rated R was the album I that got me into them and then I got their back catalogue and the next two albums after that songs for the deaf and lullabies to paralyze. all three over all are amazing albums but I just have favorite songs rather than favorite albums.

What about their first album makes such an impactful impression on you?

I like 2 and 3.

Not a lot, thats why I only like four songs of it, but when I got it, I had only just heard of queens of the stone age, and rated R was so good I decided to go out and any other albums I could find by them, and that was the first self titled one.

No I don't, I think thats QOTSA's bread and butter man. Just pop enough, rock guitars, and who can forget "more cowbell"

I have LTP but havent really listened to it that much yet, saying that though the times i have listened to it, it seems ok. I doubt it will ever match songs for the deaf mind you.

i don't know, really. i have listened to the first three many times, and i just enjoy the first more than the other two.

it's just really relaxed, i suppose.

songs for the death is the highlight of their career for me. so far.

name some of the best songs from them so i can download them...every album has like 25 songs and i just didn't feel like downloading them all...i like no one knows and little sister...name just the best please...

I havn't heard the new CD, so i can't help ya there.

Good list, but No One Knows gets tiring... Its an awesome song, Ill grant you that, but Ive heard it so many times it seems to have lost its meaning...
