Oh come on. It's fair to say there have been stoner bands that go on to produce shit the rest of their meager lives but J-Ho isn't among them. Blues for the Red Sun isn't even the best Kyuss album. Sky Valley is epic.

it's a landmark album in the genre. i think it would be interesting to hear what it would sound like with the current production abilities the guys would have accumulated over the years. i wouldn't expect a regurgitation more like a re-imagination. like the difference between 'born to hula' versions

oh alright. I was going to say, what the hells the difference between the two, some extra tracks or remixes.

Production seems like a legit wish.

I don't see it happening. Kyuss always recorded everything live (with minimal production wanking) and I can't see them getting back together anytime soon. It would probably be against their ethos anyways.

I would give an arm and a leg to see Kyuss reunite, but Homme just doesn't want to do it.

I sorta like that though. JH never seems to sit in the groove to make some cash, he's always out there trying new things.

He also loves his collaborations and that makes me a huge fan. I mean the Dave on Drums years were brilliant. SftD was on of the better albums put together in the 00's.

i don't doubt any of this. at the same time there have been some serious advances made in live recording technology. i'm sure we can all agree the queens have an effing wicked live sound.

if the christmas show from a few years ago with garcia guesting on stage for 3 of the encores was any indication it would sound EPIC
