I wonder if the person who recommended this actually thought Blizzard of Oz would stand a chance.

I would vote, but there's no point. We all know who the winner is.

With me placing my vote its 8-0 and a complete landslide victory for Sabbath. I thought a Randy Rhoads fanatic may give the Ozzy album a slight chance! Anyway next up courtesy of The Batlord more like The Bat-Mite are two early hair metal albums (you were warned with the Twisted Sister video)

Motley Crue Shout at the Devil 1983

Versus

W.A.S.P W.A.S.P 1984

Note this is not the correct album cover, as I couldn`t get a suitable size, so I put a pic of the band & hope you like it.

only select stuff

some Bon Jovi (mostly the power ballads), most Posion singles, all Enuff Z'Nuff and Skid Row's Slave to the Grind and Def Leppard (if that counts)

i love W.A.S.P.'s Animal but damned if I'm gonna download a whole album

Motley Crue I only really like Dr. Feelgood (song)

Not a fan of either, but I suppose I'll go with W.A.S.P. **** Like a Beast trumps any of the Motley tracks, therefore W.A.S.P. wins.

W.A.S.P. - 1
Motley Crue - 0

I`ve always had a soft spot for the sleazy, catchy and tacky sound of Motley Crue....even though I know they`re real garbage and if it had been their debut album on here they would`ve won. W.A.S.P on the other hand, often get lumped in with the hair metal brigade mostly from their image, but music wise they were more aggressive than most of the other hair metal acts and most importantly they put out a big metal sound (arena metal) akin to other bands of the period Accept, Riot, Manowar and Anvil to name a few and their debut album is a good album.

Motley Crue 0
W.A.S.P 2
