They're clearly the more popular band overall and Powerslave is probably my favorite album of theirs but I'm going with Queensryche. I wouldn't call Powerslave my favorite album of theres is why I am going with Queensryche. What an incredible concept for an album to begin with and to be able to pull off such a thing was and is amazing. Geoff Tate is incredible.

I have listened to Powerslave hundreds of times, if it was 7th Son up there I'd go Maiden. it was my first time ever listening to Queensrÿche, but I was impressed. Great riffs, the only way I can describe the guys voice is lightning, and top notch.

Yeah, forgive my n00b mistake, haha.

I think that though would be best, do like a semi-final. I always thought the best way this thread could be done is bracket. Have a high number of albums, and do it for longer. Always seens to go by too quickly.

I must say I'm not too fond of the epic battles.... if you don't like the genre or theme they're riffing on, it's pretty tedious.
