No. They are a symbol of grammatical oppression and I want them gone.

Am I to assume that your new avatar is a symbol of your questions about your gender now that you're no longer shackled to the yoke of religious oppression? Should we call you Conina now?

i like the question mark, though did you know the question mark in Therapy? was a fertility symbol? |
I think we should make every off topic post an automatic vote for this....

Meh, it turns out Crue is a big influence on lots of bands I like (midnight, speedwolf, tigerjunkies, etc.). So I gave them a listen... and they're pretty ****ing good. I think "Bastard" is their best track, though.

"Douchebag-metal" would be a good way of describing what I look for in metal bands.

Next up are 6 diverse metal EP's suggested by Janszoon.
EP Roulette: Six Metal EPs, of Various Sub-Genres, Arranged in a Random Order Muhr Shepherd/Blood 2010 http://www.metal-archives.com/images...03662.jpg?1710 Versus Inside the Beehive Drink Bleach; Live Forever 2011 |
it's more of a contest between sub-genres than the contents themselves and how they match up to others of their ilk, i find that Muhr bloody boring, and it really drags. However, that Beehive is pretty energetic metalcore/mathcore wateva

Gave both a listen and have to agree with Duck about Muhr - Shepherd/Blood. Man it just drags out. Drink Bleach was a lot more exciting and interchangeable but I couldn't really stand the vocals. Still better than Muhr.
Muhr - 0 Inside the Beehive - 2 |
Now I really liked the Muhr EP which is something of a surprise really. I always claim to be a doom metal fan but frequently get bored with doom metal albums usually for their lack of variety and their ability to really drag on. The Muhr EP just got it right and there were enough atmospheric sections to keep me interested for the whole time. Not much of a fan of Mathcore and the Inside the Beehive was much as expected.
TBH I have to agree with Howard here, that a lot of these votes for this war may actually come down to sub-genre vs sub genre rather than taking each EP as it is. Muhr- 1 Inside the Beehive- 2 |

Side note: It's nice to see some music here that even mediafire doesn't care about enough to delete. Inside the Beehive: 3 Mühr: 1 |

This is a really tough call for me, I love both of these EPs. I just gave both of them fresh listens and I think I'm going to give my vote to Mühr. Inside the Beehive are fantastic and the EP is one of favorite recent discoveries, but the Mühr EP is just so vast and austere sounding, it really transports me to somewhere very much like the mountain on the cover.
