Best prog song ever.

That is some sweet, sweet prog. I really enjoyed the flute solo. Still doesn't stack up to this epic prog masterpiece though:

Tasty prog. I love the way they mix jazz fusion with Gregorian chanting.

It was like Chaos, but with almost none of the Thrash influences that could still be found on Chaos. Bores me fast, run time is too long, and many of the tracks are just skippable to me.

Arise is still a worthy follow up to BTR though.
I've had it up to here with you running down Roots, one of these days I'm going to break into your basement, grab you and tie you to a chair and then torture you. It won't be anything gory and bloody, I have something much better for you, I'll force you to listen to the WHOLE Korn discography until you become gibbering wreck.

In the 70s they were often classified as metal and have always had a metal following.

I don't really think AC/DC were Metal. More Hard Rock with hints of Metal elements. They pioneered it for sure though.

I didn't say they were metal, just that they were seen as metal in the 70s due to both hard rock and heavy metal often being very close at that time.

Genres are fluid and we could spend eternity arguing over them. It's dumb.

But AC/DC really aren't metal. I can't think of a single thing about them that would push them over the line between hard rock and metal.

You have to look at it from a 70s perspective. Back then hard rock and metal were basically the same thing.

I guess I wasn't alive during the 1970's, but there's still a world of difference between AC/DC and Judas Priest or Black Sabbath.
