Anyway, Unexpect is possibly the best metal band going at the moment, imo. Albeit, not particularly for the lead vocals, still.

Will have to check them out.

Never really got into many bands with female vocals besides Dark Castle, 13, and Kylesa.

Girlschool were as good as Motorhead in the early 80's and it was only through bad management and the usual close minded attitudes of record companies that denied them the success that they deserved.

Warlocks first album was out in 1985 and the lead singer Doro Pesch is still successful well over 25 years later with her solo act.

KMFDM wouldn't be half the band they were without Lucia Cifarelli in the ranks and it is no coincidence that their popularity coincided with her joining the band.

Phantom Blue's debut album from the early 90's was one of the very few pure Metal albums that has not only stood the test of time but has become a huge collectors item since it's release. This is not because it was made in the age of Grunge and Nu Metal and therefore hard to find. It is because they had more balls than their male counterparts in making traditional music and sticking to it no matter what the popular scene was at the time.

Are you telling me that Queen Adreena isnt worth your time?:

Um, they are in metal.

I honestly don't like any bands with female lead vocalists. If I had to pick one I would say Arch Enemy
