Salome is a pretty good female-fronted doom/sludge metal band. Their singer, Kathrine Katz, was also featured prominently on the last Agoraphobic Nosebleed album.

And Fuck the Facts are a pretty good grindcore band, though they only had a female singer for part of their career.

Of course, if you wanted to be really anal, you'd have to concede that according to your link women are not a minority in the countries where the bands mentioned in this thread hail from.

If you listen to liberals, minority status has to do with access to power (or what have you).... personally, if they form a special interest group, demand an equivalent to affirmative action (see ERA), they're a minority.
