On the one hand, this song is too damn short and only gives you that nut-busting breakdown once, but on the other I almost always throw it on repeat till I'm satisfied.

Suicide Silence, at least on their debut, were as good as any 2nd tier death metal band, they just picked an unfortunate genre.

My latest obsession is this Cynic demo compilation album. My favorite thing about Cynic is their (former ) drummer, Sean Reinert. He's one of those metal drummers who grew up listening to jazz, and he uses weird drum fills.

This album is kick ass. The production has no bass, no treble, and sky-high mids, which hurts it quite a lot, but the rest of the album is really good.

This album reminds me of Unknown Soldier, because that was his favorite 'Priest album. Wish that guy was still here.
