Neue Regel and Screaming In Digital are god-tier songs.

^So is the rest of the album! "London" has always been my favorite though.

Currently listening:

Damn, this is one of those albums that I always forget just how great it is. Usually when I'm in the mood for Bush-era Anthrax, I always choose Stomp 442 or We've Come For You All. I should really listen to this album more, this sh**'s good.

^Not really an Antrhax fan, but I like the song Black Lodge off of that album.

Liking this more with every listen. Playing it pretty loud right now and it makes me realize how awesome the bass guitar sounds in the mix.

dir en grey THE ⅢD EMPIRE (VESTIGE OF SCRATCHES ver.)

Also decided to take a swing by the original version (the one above is re-recorded in 2018 for a compilation.) Haven't heard the original in quite a while. It's somehow grittier in guitar tone, but doesn't feel quite as groovy. And oh boy, that mid-song breakdown is much better in the re-recording.

Oh yes. Their first album in thirteen years, so I didn't know what to expect. Already with the first song, this is a complete return to their old school death metal sound from the early 90's. Lets see how it holds up to their classics.

EDIT: Decent album, though it can get a bit monotonous. It really is a return to their old sound, but lacking the hooks. Despite that, "Garrotte", "Ballcutter", and "Disposer" are great and it's a shame that the rest of the album isn't as good.

Insanely ****ing heavy doom from this year that incorporates elements of crust punk and drone. It addresses themes such as mental illness and gender dysphoria.

It's very, very, very good.

This is no Crossover or Full Speed Ahead, but man does that massive groove of "Acid Rain" kick it off with a bang. The bass is very audible too, which I always love. "Target" is great, and sounds like it could have fit on Full Speed Ahead.

Great way of keeping fans happy while waiting for new music, and makes it easier to get these hard to find bonus tracks and unreleased stuff. Also, makes it so where you don't have to get a best-of album for the greatness that is "Fizgig":

I like me some non-linear alt. metal. Does the whole album sound like this or is it more/less experimental? I only ask cause of the avant secondary tag on RYM.
