Yeah that vocalist I'm not too fond of.

Shelton's clean vocals made me lol when I first heard them on Crystal Logic.

There were so many great obscure one-album or two bands in the late 80's and early 90's. Kinghorse had a really unique sound, with a bit of thrash, Danzig, and Skin Yard mixed together. Their vocalist also hits some Thorsten "Toto" Bergmann (Living Death) high notes, though not quite as much of an air raid siren.

Terribly unappealing. That's definitely their progginess seeping through.

lol I know it sucks, it's just a cheesiness that I can enjoy. With that said, he definitely became a much better vocalist later on. He sounds great on Courts of Chaos especially.

I really love that period just after the NWOBHM started releasing albums and before like 1986 in American metal when thrash wasn't yet codified and speed metal and power metal were cutting edge. Those bands were just the most metal bands to ever exist.

If I ever start a band we'll be a ****ty speed metal/black metal band who'll end every show with a Venom cover and before we do it everyone in the crowd will have to buy and chug a beer. Even Motorhead aren't such a perfect beer band.
