If you want to talk about the hardships of the third world why not start a seperate thread about that in "The Lounge" None of what you`re talking about really relates to music.
I think it's time to let it go man. I'm sure she'll(?) tire herself out eventually.

It is in the third world, the world stocket market fixes the prices for that sort of raw material, and they work very hard in those mines there, bad security, bad paid, children working, sometimes lots of pollution near those mines or to wash the metal out of the stone, the earth....

They don't get paid fairly, Steve Jobs and the whole other (and yes, there are guys a lot lot worse than Jobs and less brains than him and less genius) consortium of global players made so much money out of that business that hangs toghether with factories in china and raw material from africa and and and... and war also! I am not saying Jobs is an evil man - it is the system that makes men in the first world profit while men in the third world work under very bad conditions.
What do you expect? The difference in pay reflects the scarcity of skills any individual possesses. There's far more people who can do work in a mine or do basic factory work than program a computer or manage a multinational company. The average IQ of a CEO for a Fortune 500 company is 150.

Really, when you speak of increasing pay for those with no skills, you're speaking of offering an incentive for people to not acquire difficult, specialized skills.

This thing still running considering the OP has not posted in any other thread apart from their own? Shocking.

Watching HHBH argue against what appears to be gibberish has really made this thread popcorn-worthy.

What Everyone Is Too Polite to Say About Steve Jobs
NOOOOOOOO!!! Not this!!! The "evil sweat shop" argument bothers me considerably. People don't realize it is an economic cycle. It is entirely possible U.S. citizens will work in sweat shops in a century.

I could write 5000 words on this right now but I don't want to waste my time.

And I'm sorry Sophie, but I agree with most other people on here. I'm having trouble figuring out what you are saying and I'm not sure this thread belongs on this particular forum.

I better get out of here now. The whole "evil capitalism" thing typically gives me ulcers

i love Sophie Scholl in much the same way as I loved The Virgin

but at least, she's worth responding to, and doesn't bust my balls

oh, politics bore me, Bono is shite

i'd rather listen to Jim Morrison singing about his dick than hypocrites waxing about hypocrisy
