Most of the second disc is good. I especially like Breadfan, So What, Am I Evil, Damage Case and Helpless.

Theres a few erm...."interesting" covers on the first disc but Turn The Page is beautiful.

i guess i would say a 'sell out' is any band that their sound is driven by what the mainstream is asking for. i see too many bands that will come out with a great debut album or at least an album with potential and then turn around and their second album sounds like every other nickelback wannabe band. also any band driven by money and profit is a sell out. yes it is a job but that doesn't mean you have to play lame music just so you can be a millionaire. i also think that you can't really be a famous band signed to a big label without technically be a sellout to some degree. it's almost impossible.

metallica will continue to sell anything they put out but they have run their course. to be honest i'd rather listen to the new trivium album, a band definitely influenced by metallica.

So, we agree then?

The second half of Garage, Inc especially the Garage Days tracks had a massive impact on me as a kid and they still get a blast out once in a while. Helpless and The Small Hours especially. I have the classic Diamond Head album 'Lightning To The Nations' which had a massive influence on Metallica.

I thought the Sabbath and Thin Lizzy covers on the 1st disc were pretty good too.

All of these covers are less than a third as good as the originals. What an awful 2 discs to have to sit through.

i got into metal because of the tallica boys. but you can't deny that some of their music sucks weenie. as far as the napster crap, who gives.
