You get one of the mods to add whomever you want blaster. I'm done.

By the way, (you did cast your vote for AIC's didn't you)? Brother
Haha, that's why I said it. I thought it was funny.

And of course. AIC all the way. I think Mad Season is better than any of the bands on the list, except for AIC. But if Mad Season made more than one album, i just might like them more. Mad Season was THE Seattle era supergroup, combining AIC, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees.

Thanks for the info, I'll make it a point to give them a listen.

I'm going to wiki them now.

Definitely give them a listen. I think their one album was really good.

Mad Season are one of my all time favourite bands. In fact, I named myself after their only album.

Pearl Jam only have 2 votes whilst Alice in Chains have 7, people need their heads examined.

Agreed, I don't understand how much clout AiC seems to get online. They always struck me as the pinnacle of the 2nd tier back in the day with PJ / SG / Nirvana at the top. For me Soundgarden was always top of the pile for the Seattle era.

It was tough deciding between Mudhoney, Tad and Alice in Chains. In the end I went for AiC.

Do you mean you don't get why they get so much clout at the expense of the other groups? Cause I would agree. I love AIC, don't get me wrong, Jar of Flies is one of my fav records of all time, but for me Superunknown is the pinnacle of the grunge era. It has the doomy grunge thing down to a "T", while still managing to be totally diverse and accessible without sacrificing anything for it. One of the best rock records ever made, and it deserves to be right up there with the best of Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones.

AIC and Soundgarden are the only two who I would consider voting for, and I voted for AIC a while back. None of the others come close, nowhere near in fact.
