Default City Bombardment song: Dedicated to 1980 Iran-Iraq war bombs

Read the story of me being 4 years old amid of Iran-Iraq war in Tehran which resulted in composing the song "City Bombardment":

Quote:
I have a recurring memory of a scene (maybe when I was 4) in which I was watching cartoons on TV and the sirens went on and the cartoons stopped, showing “go to air raid shelter” message... I remember feeling sad for not being able to watch cartoons.

I think this specific memory had a major impact on my mood when composing “City Bombardment”. When you live in a city and see bombs destroying your neighbor’s homes, you feel a threat to “life” in its most general meaning of term. And I guess when I was 4, cartoons were my life.
I am an Iranian composer of Human Encounter which is a jazzrock instrumental album you may preview at my website This link also contains "City Bomabrdment" in full length for streaming.

Human Encounter has also a video trailer at the following.
