How is the new At the Gates anyway? I listened to a bit of it yesterday and was slightly underwhelmed. Gonna come back and check it out again though, as I don't think I was really in the mood for it to begin with.

Dunno, I haven't listened to it yet. I figure it was worth a shot. Overall it's more new releases than I usually get; new Midnight, Godflesh, Bolzer, & At the Gates. The new Godflesh is supposed to slay.

I recently purchased what to me is the best metal album of 2014, and my album of the year.

Machine Head - Bloodstone & Diamonds

10/10, easily.

If you doubt me. Then listen to it and judge for your own. But listen to the entire record, all 72 minutes of its triumphant glory.

I haven't, I'll check it out. But, you should check out the new Machine Head, Bloodstone & Diamonds. If you are a fan of good metal, or rather, top notch metal albums. You'll like it.
