Default A Heavy Metal band with Religious touchs

Hi you people ask my want band I want to do well here it is Horror Metal band with Religous touches.

Ok first off how many here know of Cliver Barker's Hell Bound Heart, or seen the Hellraiser movies?. As you know the Cenobites from the movies are known as the Order of the Gash there tight leather clothes are modled after Religous and Butcher outfits.

Now these unholy looking church people that form this band are from the Black Cathedral that rose out of the ground and calls the unwashed, unloved masses with it's Death bell the Freaks and Geeks of the world.

It's the job of these Demonic and Unholy band of Relgious chracters to clenese this sick world of the hypocritics and leeches.

One of my main problems is that I can't read Music or play a musical equipment, but I can sceam reall loud.

Well you may ROFL but it's a good idea.

Twisted versions of Catholic religious outlook and dress, the Black Cathedral is there homebase from which they sally forth to the unclean and sick world to do there bloody work.

Brocas Helm has a song called Drink the Blood of the Priest, what I want is to have a band so infamous that it would take the title most hated band away from ICP.

One of the Band members must be Female and can play the Electronic Organ since it's normally played in Churches. She would be a leather Nun like character think Talia from Mass Effect video game series.

What is? Forming a metal band that has religious overtones?

Never heard of one them before personally. I always presumed that Metal bands only talked about parties and getting laid with the odd insult to religion thrown in?

So let me get this straight (just in case this is more lost in translation than troll)...

You want to create a metal band that draws heavily from religious imagery in order to shock people? And you somehow think this is a new idea?

It sounds like Marylin Manson plus Sinead O'Connor with a twist of Rammstein and Evanescence.

Also, ICP is one of the most ridiculed bands out there, not hated.

pretty cool, sounds like more of an art project than anything. you should learn to play an instrument though, everyone starts somewhere and there are thousands of professional musicians out there who can't play any better than I could teach a monkey.

check out this local band from where i live, theyre not metal but they have a similar image to what i think your talking about

Profunda Rosa - Banshee - YouTube
(sorry about the quality but thats what you get with small local bands)

As a concept, I think it sounds contrived, cheesy, laughable and not very original. Sounds something like another Gothminister.
