Does Rise against play the exact same music?

No they're more punky, they're similar to Strike Anywhere.

Alexis Fire claimed to be the world's only lactating contortionist stripper.

Anyone wanna up their s/t for me? From what I've heard of it I think I'll like it the most, but I wanna hear all the tracks.

Alexisonfire writes a good song, but then writes the same one 10 more times and calls it an album. They're decent, but way too boring to listen to for more than a few songs in a row. I seriously can't get over how similar all their songs seem. Its a shame, because I think they have the potential to write good music.

I could understand how people would say that about Crisis even though those sounds didnt sound all the same to me. But if you were to listen to Watch Out! which IMO is the best Alexis album...all the songs are different..its a great album..and there is a really good flow and connection between the lyrics in all the songs.

I actually think Crisis has the most distinction between songs, although I wouldn't call it their best album. But Boiled Frogs will always be my favorite Alexisonfire song.

i'm just starting to get into these guys, after seeing them mentioned in the thank you notes (dontcha love those) for Rise Against sufferer and the witness. i checked out the songs on their purevolume page and they're ****ing awesome. apparently they play melodic hardcore/screamo punk similar to Rise Against, so i'm happy. what records should i pick up first?
