(Your little Suburbia for its actually intensity, and Casting Such a Thin shadow because its the type of song that sends chills down your spine from the way its constructed, emotionally, vocally, instrumentally)

I think the hook riff to Elegy by Becoming the Archetype is possibly the most intense piece of modern music.

All time favorite has to go to Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath.
That song is still as heavy, intense, and just plain scary today as it was 40 years ago.
