You can listen to whatever you want as far as i`m concerned.
The point I was making is I don`t find those bands intense because 99.9999% of their songs sound exactly the same. I like bands with range & diversity , bands that cover the whole spectrum of emotions. To me when you hear bands just coming out with angry song after angry song it just becomes tired & cliched.Of course bands like Slipknot & Morbid Angel will do angry songs. It`s a part of their gimmick. On the other hand when I hear a band who don`t always write angry songs when they do , to me it makes it more personal & meaningful because they`re not doing it as a selling point or a gimmick. |
kyuss were able to create a real intensity in their music. frank black was cabaple of making any song intense. but the most intense song i know of has to be exit music. bit of a biased decision i know, but the lyrics and yorkes voice- just so intense.

Sunn 0))) has really really deep bass parts (hell its 2 basses and a guitar i think) and its just a wall of sound that pulls at you through the vibration. its really cool.

personally, all cannibal corpse, obituary, deicide and skinless do the whole intense thing for me, slayer *thinks for a minute* .. possibly!
