Granted, I've not listened to a whole lot of Opeth, but that's because I've never found enough in them to interest me to make me want to listen to more.

If you don't like this, you'll never like them. But save it for when you're in the mood for sad, it's a very sorrowful song that needs to be listened to in complete silence.

If it interests you, maybe consider checking out some of the tracks these dudes mentioned, I find googling 'best songs by' and getting an entire thread is the best way to check out bands.

Haven't listened to any of their albums, just a few of their earlier songs, like their cover of "Helter Skelter" which I love.

Wut. This statement baffles me.

Their first two, Too Fast for Love and Shout at the Devil, are legitimately, non-ironically great albums. Two of my all time favorites and I can't recommend listening to them enough.

Here's mine and can't really argue with the results that much, but I don't know what happened to the progressive metal option?

Black metal at 75%, death and doom only other ones above 50%.

And damn there was a lot of bands on that quiz that I really dislike. Felt like I was putting 2s for everything..

Sort of accurate but not really. "Doom Metal and Related" really should be in first or second place for me. I think the survey was thrown off by the fact that I don't really like traditional doom despite loving more modern doom.
