I'm sorry for asking this question, but does metal still exist? Go ahead and laugh at my question. (Some people might actually cry when they read this question.) But metal songs are not being played over the radio (generally speaking). Yes, I sound like a half-moron, but I think that this is an important issue. I'm sorry for going off-topic, but this topic still touches the sides of metal.

Yes it still exists. Even though it rarely gets played on the radio outside of an A7x or Metallica song, it still has an extremely loyal fan base. Metal heads are probably the most dedicated fans out of any genre, and they'll be damned to let metal die.

And they'd probably punch you in the chops if you asked them this in person!

I thought you just gave Anthrax's debut album and Show No Mercy a 5/5 in your journal?

By the way, if you liked Anthrax, you should like this.

Also here is more thrash, that is uptempo and high-energy:

Spoiler for Pantera, Megadeth, Slayer:

Like I said, I could easily make a top 10, and include them on their, but he will have probably heard them all.

You still doing the Torture Chamber next year? Now that I know what not to subject you to, you won't get off so easily.

I kept trying to justify to myself why Merzbow might in some way shape or form qualify as metal. I mean he had that period in the nineties where he was influenced by death metal, right?
