City Of Evil is IMO the most creative and innovative album of 2005. They took so many different styles and blended them together. You can hear anything from Pantera, to GNR, to Queen. Their guitarists are sick. Waking the Fallen is a damn good album as well.

I think Avenged is alright. I have two albums and they're both pretty good, but I like M. shadow's older vocals better in some ways. Still can't really complain though because the guitar players are freakin' genius...
