^Cows, I imagine.

CN:You should just like what you like mate. I don't really dig Bush but it's cool if you do. I prefer them shaved though.

Which means the Batlord likes bush too, right?

Soundgarden is awful. The worst of Nirvana is worth 30 of Soundgarden's best.

That shouldn't be a surprise. Jansz likes extreme (speed) metal with grinding guitar and growling vocals. Slowed down melodic **** like Soundgarden is the pretty much at the opposite side of the spectrum.

Make sense then, I can see why Jansz would say that now.

Honestly, I put Soundgarden out there because I thought most of you would agree there, my opinion isn't that they're better than Bush. I was going to say Pearl Jam, but then I decided not to because as a whole, I wouldn't say they're better than Bush, I know I certainly don't think so. Hm, well, this is harder than I thought. And maybe the amount of grunge bands I listen to isn't enough to list any that are better than Bush, but then again, I listened to a lot of it, just can't recall some names now.

In hindsight I think the genre of grunge was a total farce. All of those bands were equal parts rock and punk.

Grunge = Rock band that tunes their low E strings to D, omits guitar solos, writes a bunch of songs using the soft verse/heavy chorus recipe, and purposely dresses down on stage.

Want a good laugh? Google "best grunge bands".

It wasn't bad because it was that, it was bad because it became that.

Agreed. The grunge that was spoon fed to the masses was the rock bands that jumped into the grunge pool.

This is a killer rock album BTW. Just gave it a spin yesterday. You gotta wonder how things would have evolved if Andrew Wood had stuck around longer.
