I had figured that Primus was a solid win tbh, so these votes are kind of surprising.

Because they're pretentious and therefore better than less pretentious bands? Back when the Metal Wars thread was still active, Astro Creep beat Angel Dust (Love that album, but Mike Patton is not someone who I would accuse of being NOT pretentious.) Contemplate that while Primus' boring-as-**** album gets voted the **** off.

They're my favourite on the list because they make the greatest music on there. It's zany but I don't really think pretentious when I think Primus. Their music is just too fun to fit into the category really. That's not to mention that you have ****ing Tool on the list so if we're voting based on levels of pretension I think we can just call this battle now.

And I'm quite certain that Angel Dust won that one, but it was definitely close.

Zany does not equal fun when the music is otherwise dull.

And Astro Creep definitely won. I remember cause so many people were surprised. I think we all were TBH.

Nah Primus is quite interesting. You must need to clean your ears. Pork Soda would have been a better choice though.
