The Ultimate Metal Wars Song Survivor Thread

You know, it's weird: I expected with all the "Wars" threads that this would be already covered, but though we have "Metal Wars!!" of course, that's for albums and I intend this one to be for songs only. So here it is, the latest in a long line of "Wars" threads, but hopefully it may get a little more interest going than my previous ones.

Only rules are: one song against one song only, and whichever wins the war will go forward against the next challenger, which will be selected on the basis of the signup sheet below. Once one song is four or five votes ahead of its rival I'll declare it the winner, and we'll move on. Clear enough?

Ok, so to annoy a large majority of you we're gonna start with
