If I had my way, Manowar would certainly be on the power metal list, but there sadly few non-Philistines out there who see the light that is Manowar.

Epicus Doomicus Metallicus is awesome for its awesomeness.
Brave Murder Day is awesome for its perfectly quiet moments amid the chaos.
Dopesmoker is awesome for its sludgy guitars and epic lyrics.
Dopethrone is awesome for its crushing heaviness.

Candlemass loses because all it is is awesome.
