Finished getting my thoughts organized, and I think it's gonna have to be like this for me:

Crimson Glory
Virgin Steele

The constant heaviness just doesn't appeal as much to me. I preferred the ones that had quieter moments. Just like with Celtic Frost in the last fight, I'd rather have some diversity. I might give it another listen throughout this though, so we'll see if my mind is changed by another run-through.

Constant heaviness? What about the cheesy ballads that are just thinly veiled odes to metal (as are almost all of Hammerfall's songs)?

Best battle so far and hell I love nearly all these albums and in fact some of them were put my way by The Batlord a few years ago, but if I had to pick four and it was almost impossible because I'm voting off albums I love here:
